Together, these two models make MAVs both approachable and effective—encouraging movement without overwhelm, and ensuring each step taken is one that counts.
Tiny Habits, developed by BJ Fogg, shows how you are more likely to take action when that action is small, simple, and easy to start.
This principle helps MAVs overcome inertia and lower resistance to behaviour change.
Deliberate Practice, as defined by Anders Ericsson, emphasizes that progress isn’t about repetition, but about intentional, structured effort focused on specific skills. MAVs apply this logic by targeting only the most relevant behavioural or contextual drivers in a given situation.
